Hi, I’m Rachel.
Having lived in Kitchener for 16 years, and raising my now high-school aged children here, I’ve seen the impact of our public schools first hand.
I believe an inclusive public school system where everyone belongs and is able to thrive is the foundation of a healthy society. This is why I became involved in our school council, joined the Waterloo Region Assembly of Public School Councils (WRAPSC), became a Roots of Empathy Instructor, and co-founded Waterloo Region Families 4 Public Education.
As a WRDSB Trustee I will work to protect public education by:
Advocating for increased funding.
Engaging with families to understand their needs.
Listening to educators’ lived experiences.

$88.13 = 250 uncoated full colour postcards
$388.72 = 50 single colour two-sided lawn signs

Ontario school board trustees can earn up to $10,000 per year. Under the Ontario government's Putting Student Achievement First Act, 2026, the province officially capped trustee pay.
